Ross Inlet I – Finished

Things went gradual with attention to texture and attempting to use the abstract aspects to make a landscape. Still competing with inner self to loosen up – to get away from ‘tightness’ in painting – although, there was progress in this painting.

Start of Ross Inlet I

Today, decided to do some larger work to become more involved with the painting. Larger helps to loosen up, use larger brushes and texture-making materials, and involve the whole physical self. This painting will be a landscape of Ross Inlet, just down the road from here. I’ll post as it progresses (or, degresses) – one never knows who is going to take control – artist or painting.
