Doris Place Boat Ramp

Not far east of here is Doris Place Boat Ramp. It is up Coos River a couple of miles where it is strategically placed close to the fork of the Coos and Millicoma Rivers. The driveway squeezes past a huge barn and opens to a large parking lot for vehicles with boats. Near the ramp is a grass area with one picnic table. All the land east and west is dairy farms and the breeze occasionally carries a “very reminder cows and farm odor” of my youth.
First to hit my visual senses was the movement of the water and the nuances in the pilings – so, that is what I concentrated in this collage.
